Tracking bookings

Log the jobs you book, record worked days, and keep track of pay.

When an audition turns into work, log it as a booking to track your days and pay in one place.

Creating a booking

  1. Go to Bookings and choose New booking.
  2. Enter the project details and key dates.
  3. Save.

You can also start a booking directly from a booked audition, which pre-fills the project details for you.

Worked days

Add a worked day for each day you’re on the job. Record the date, your start and end times, and the location. These build the record you’ll want come tax time or when reconciling pay.

Pay

Set your pay type and rate, and The Career Actor calculates totals from your worked days. Pay types cover common arrangements like hourly, daily, and flat rates.

Connections on a booking

Bookings can list the director, casting director, and anyone else involved as connections, each with their role on the project.
